Summer has begun: Discovering Ministry Opportunities and God's Provision

Summer has arrived, and its presence is palpable. River hikes and ice cream outings will become more frequent. The season also offers various ministry opportunities. I led the Monday Run-day ladies on a 5k walk/jog to the river, which was a refreshing change from the routine and attracted some new participants. Additionally, I organized a night river hike for some Young Adults. The Kids Club is progressing well, and I plan to initiate a Soccer Academy in the same park during the summer. Conversations with local adults suggest this would be a great way to connect with the community and foster joy and unity. I will enlist help to serve as coaches and referees, and with the assistance of the ladies currently involved in the club, I am confident we will have an excellent team for the Soccer Academy this summer. An adult's presence will be required during training and Bible lessons. Please pray for this endeavor and that we can more effectively engage with the community in this manner. Other ideas for community outreach in the "Los Lirios" area are also under discussion.

Bible Provision

It was very encouraging to recieve help in purchasing Bibles for Young Adults, the response was like a hug from heaven. What a joy to give away these Bibles and mention the names of those who gave. We prayed for you and blessed you in Jesus' name. Bibles are now being used more frequently and I pray to see this more and more.

Life and Ministry

The ministry has been progressing well. I strive to remain faithful, continue doing what I can, and listen prayerfully for guidance on the next steps. It has been encouraging to see local believers eager to assist, providing me with people to involve in ministry, which is both helpful and enjoyable. I have also been participating in the worship ministry at church and mentoring young musicians for worship roles. I rejoined CrossFit thanks to a friend, which has improved my health and connections with others. I would appreciate prayers for my emotional and spiritual health, to remain focused and encouraged, and for direction, affirmation, or correction. The Lord is my helper, and I am grateful for His love and support.

Upcoming

I am getting ready for some teaching opportunities at Kids Camp and a Worship Leaders' conference. I'm organizing a fundraising event where I'll perform some of my songs with other musician friends and ask for donations to Live It Missions after sharing the vision. This is my first time doing this, and it's happening in Mexico. I want to give local people the chance to contribute financially. I am also preparing for the launch of the Soccer Academy and finding ways to connect with women in the community where I am serving. In a few weeks, I will visit Sara in McAllen for a few days, which I am looking forward to. She will be flying down from New Hampshire (she still can't come to Mexico as she is in the immigration process following her marriage). I plan to take some of her friends to visit her, which I know will greatly encourage her. I also ask for your prayers for Lift (Young Adult Ministry), for salvations, deep connections to form, and for God's guidance.
