A Summer of Blessings, Service, and More to Come

Some seasons feel full because the calendar is crowded. That is how I have felt, but in a good way. I have had several opportunities to learn, serve, teach, and create.

As I look back on the past couple months, I feel grateful. As I look ahead, I feel expectant. I will share a few of the activities that have been going on and ask for prayer for some that are upcoming.

Summer ministry opportunities

Summer heat means river escapes. I helped take a group of people to a mountain river hike. We enjoyed the views, the water and had devotions and worship time together. Most of the people are not Christ followeres or church attenders. And there were so many others around that were not apart of our group. I enjoyed this time of presenting Jesus to them with His beautiful creation around us. I pray God uses what has been planted. I continue to see them in crossfit and in Faith and Fitness activities.

I was asked to serve and teach at a Kid's Camp. I thoroughly enjoyed walking around shooting kids with a water gun lol. And teaching God's word is always a favorite. The kidsw camp was in two cities and over the spand of two weeks.

Seeing Kids respond to Jesus, the love of others and experience God's joy is such a blessing.

My favorite activity was the outdoor concert I was able to put on with some friends at a restaurant in town. It was the first time I played my music live! The purpose was to share the vision of Live It Missions, raise money and of course; share about Jesus! This was such a fun way to share the gospel and get the word out about what we are trying to do. Seeing the mexican people care about what is happening in their community is very important to me. They are called to be a part of the solution also. After this I had many follow of conversations that led to teams being formed and more Kid's Club outreach opportunities. I am super excited to share that we will be launching three clubs as of next week! And not only that, but some of you have helped order all the necessary items to run these clubs in the different communites. So thankful for the generosity of others and provision of God!

Such a great turnout. Over 70 people came, heard the vision and gave a financial gift.

I had my fist team meeting with the volunteers for "Club Luciérnaga". We are excited to launch three clubs. These ladies are such a gift to me, I feel we can now dream and plan for more impact. Out purpose it to not only reach kids with the gospel and love of Christ, but also their famlies. And then be a bridge to get them connected to the local church. Each club is in a community where some of the team lives, so we can be a real light and constant source of truth and connection to God.

Young adult ministy is still going. We are planning to start small groups soon to give a better care to our young poeple. Please keep this ministry in your prayers.

I had the opportunity to share at a conference that taught on worship. I enjoyed being able to speak to worship teams and the congregation on the role of Christ as mediator in our worship and connection to God. It was a great event.

More activities are still ahead

Even with all that has already happened, the summer is not finished yet. There are more activities ahead, and I am looking forward to what God will do through them.

  • We are gearing up to promote and launch three kid's clubs in different communities (Club Luciérnaga)

  • I will be helping coordinate the service and worship team for a church campus of Conexión Live for a season, and help raise up a leader to takte over

  • I am going to be the event coordinator for the big 25th anniversary for Conexión Live church. An exciting and challening undertaking (I need prayer lol). But what a wonderful legacy it is and such a joy to be a part of this story of God's grace, started in my grandparents life.

  • I will attend the Re:generation training conference in September. I am praising God for all the open doors and willing people along this journey to launching this beautiful ministry in Mexico. We plan to launch in January.

  • I am still undergoing the process to be a "Globe International" Missionary. This requires some courses, evaluations, conversations, etc. And it also has been challenging financially to do. Please pray for God to provide for me to fulfill the process if it is His will and better for those that would desire to partner with me one day.

If you have been following along, praying, or encouraging me, please know that your support has made a real difference. It helps more than you may realize.

Prayer requests for the days ahead

I would be grateful for continued prayer as the summer continues. Here are a few specific ways to pray.

  • Pray for strength and endurance for the remaining activities.

  • Pray for wisdom in decisions, conversations, and planning.

  • Pray for open doors to share clearly about Live It Missions.

  • Pray for hearts to be opened to Jesus through the hearing of the gospel, service and connection.

  • Pray for provision for every practical need.

  • Pray for unity and joy among everyone involved.

  • Pray for a way to move closer to place of ministry (a camper).

  • Pray for a center for Live It Missions to run out of.

Prayer is not a small part of the work. It is one of the most important parts.

Gratitude for every gift of support

I am grateful for the people who have listened, for the people who send me messages, for the people that say they pray for me, for the people that give, for the opportunities to grow and to serve and for the people that collaborate. Thankful to Jesus for holding me up and always coming to my aid. I love Him more and more.

All of it matters. All our life for His glory.

Looking ahead with hope

As this summer continues, I am holding two things together: thankfulness for what has already happened and hope for what is still ahead.

Thank you to everyone who has prayed, supported, encouraged, and loved me through this season. Your kindness has been a blessing. Please keep praying for the activities still to come, for Live It Missions, and for every person who will be reached through this work.

With just a few words you changed my entire outlook on Worship, that was "when I worship at home." I thought worship was only done at Church. Thank you for sharing Jesus Christ with me through how you live your life. I will continue to pray for all the seemingly small conversations you will have as God calls others to Himself through your Praise and Worship.

Today I worship Him everywhere.

Thanks be to God and the ministry or Re:Generation.
