Hello friends, I am thankful for you. When I recieve a message or call it is more helpful then you know. Being reminded that I have people that care for me, believe in the calling God has on my life and are praying helps me stay encouraged and focused. Thank you so much! I hope you can feel my love for you. I pray for you too.
God’s Sustaining Power Daily
In life and ministry it is necessary to remember we are not meant to do it alone. It requires constant dependence on God, people that we can talk to honestly and pray with and discipline to keep the faith and perspective. I am thankful that God is the ultimate source of all we need. Some times I feel overwhelmed, lost and get anxious. I want more direction, more opportunty and more security. But God is all I need. He is our daily portion. I am reminded to be faithful. To love Him first and most. To love those before me. To do what I can and use what I have in my hands to use. God is in charge. He is setting things in motion, moving in hearts and going ahead of me. He is with me right now. That is my peace and joy. It is about Him, not Bethany. So I will seek, listen, trust and follow. YOU HELP me do that when you read a post, make a comment, say a prayer and give. Thank you! I so wish I can sit down and have a coffee with you. I hope we can soon.
Some ways God has encouraged me lately and blessed the mission here:
Visit to Granbury. Some good friends and mentors flew me up to visit them in Granbury Texas. Joey and Lisa are like famliy to me, they have walked with me, challenged me and blessed me in life and ministry. Spending time with them and getting to see some friends was a gift from God in a perfect time that I needed it.
RE:GENERATION is coming to Mexico. With the help of Stonewater Church and my friend Kisha, we will launch in January. This is such a God thing! So pumped for the healing and freedom that will come through this ministry program to a much needed area. I will keep you posted.
Going to Church Leader Conference. Another surprise and blessing was the opportunity to attend one day of a conference with a missions focus at Watermark Church in Dallas.
BIBLES! In the Young Adults Ministry (LIFT) I started about two months ago, I encourage them to bring bibles, but many do not have any. So I asked your support to buy them some, and so far I have purchased 25 bibles and more will be ordered. This is amazing! Thank you! I am excited to give them the bible next Sunday. I will take some pictures. God bless those of you who made this possible!
Teams for Kid's Club. I have invited some local believers to help lead and teach in the Kid's Club we have at the park. Serving with others makes ministry more effective, fun and the kids love it. I also enjoy giving opportunities for people to use their spiritual gifts and grow as they make steps in service to God and share the gospel.
Practical Theological Seminary in Español. We launched semniary May 11th with 40 students enrolled. This is amazing! A dream come true! We have prayed for this and waited for the time of fulfillment, and God has made it possible through Dr. Joey and Lisa White, Jeremy and Davin Fleming (my brothers) and Mexico Missions Minsitries. May more be called and trained for their calling in the Kingdom of God. Jesus is coming soon! All glory to God!
First Baptism! We celebrated our first Baptism with a young adult that attends LIFT. We went to the river because that is where he wanted to be baptized. It was a special time, he invited friends and family to join us. His dad expressed gratitue for LIFT and encouraged me to continue, seeing how it helped his son draw closer to God.
More mission opportunities coming. I had an exciting conversation about some ways I can partner with the local church to do more missions work in the community I have already started. This would help tremendously! Prayers for the Lord's guidance for us and His work in the hearts of that community as we work their. I would love to see mission teams from the US step into this mission opportunity.
For all this, glory to God. He holds us in His hands, He loves us more than we know, He loves this world more than we do and He goes before us in evey step to be His light and share the gospel with love and boldness.
Below are some pictures I hope you enjoy as much as I do.
