Arriving safely back home where it all began always brings a mix of emotions. There is the thrill of being back where I first was called to ministry, the anticipation of new experiences, and a deep sense of gratitude for the support that helped make the journey possible. Mexico, with its rich culture, vibrant communities, and stunning landscapes, offers a perfect backdrop for embracing fresh adventures. This post shares the excitement of arriving in Mexico, the gratitude felt for encouragement along the way, and hopefully encourgaes you to follow the Lord on the mission of your calling, where God wants you to you to LIVE IT out.

The Joy of Arrival and New Beginnings
Crossing the border and feeling the warm Mexican air created a moment filled with promise. The excitement of being back is also accompanied by a sense of adventure and responsibility. Seeing familiar faces, reconnecting with people I love, visiting the church I helped establish has all been so sweet.

I have to say the emotions are not all pleasant though. I have a place to stay, but my stuff is not arranged and hard to get to and I feel I must strive to maintain a patient mindset. It is not about settling in but being willing to adapt and serve in all the transitions and the "not know yets". I have also felt the feeling of sadness on what I have "missed out" on and I don't yet know where I am going to fit or what God is going to have me focus on first. These thoughts I know are not of God and I must bring them to Him and trust in His timing and guidance. He has a plan.
I have been encouraged and comforted by some people that have reached out and understand this. Most importantly the Holy Spirit is my comforter and reminds me God has got me and all this in His hands.
This first week I have been getting kinda situated at my parents house. Getting some paperwork in order to bring my little honda in Friday to MX. Assisting a short term mission team that is here this week from Mississippi in a Kids Block party that we will have on Thursday. (Follow mu Instagram to see pictures and videos that day) I love these people! They have been faithfully serving and supporting my families' ministry for many years.
Feeling Grateful for Encouragement
No journey happens in isolation. The encouragement received from friends, family, and even strangers plays a crucial role in building confidence. Whether it was a kind word, practical advice, spontaneous gift or emotional support, these gestures reassure me of God's presence and care.
Super grateful for the help of my good friend Nathan with the move of my stuff down to the valley. What a gift! The worship team I was a part of helped finance his trip. Praise the Lord!

Looking Ahead with Excitement
The journey to Mexico is just beginning. It will take a little time, but God already has been showing me ways to start serving and planning towards future ways to serve here. I apreciate prayers for guidance, provision, protection and a clear vision from the Lord. May it not be my "ideas" but His plan. Only what God initiates and sustains will be of eternal impact.
